GUESS WHAT’S COMING FOR DINNER?

Sex and the City’s Kristin Davis has used the SportsClub/LA Delivery Zone, which also prepares its 6000 meals per week according to the Zone’s guidelines.  Before starting the program, the SportsClub/LA Delivery Zone has you read through a whopping five-page food chart so you can mark off your dislikes and allergies, and then they meticulously avoid serving anything objectionable.  I was very impressed when the mushroom, spinach, olive, and cabbage salad with feta cheese dressing that most members received was delivered to me as a baby green salad with Italian dressing to reflect my particular tastes.  If I had received the same salad as everyone else, odds were good I would have been supersizing my lunch under golden arches that day.

 

The services all deliver their meals in coolers to your door, but the SportsClub/LA Delivery Zone’s coolers are the most impressive in terms of size and quality.  They contained up to 10 recyclable plastic packages per day, which make you think you’re getting a whole lot of food.  You also don’t feel like you’re on a diet when you’re enjoying Lamb Chops and Chicken Picatta for dinner, or a salad of Buffalo Mozzarella, Tomato, Balsamic Vinegar and Oil.
